Trip to the Frank Kanton by Alexander Spack in May 2009 205. The Miller Railroad The Miller Railroad. There were plans to build a railroad connection between Saratov and Millerovo (German name: Miller) in then Rostov Region in the late 1920s - early 1930s. Many high passages were made along the way of the new railroad connection. This railroad was to pass through the Volga German territory but after the plans for the road's construction were abruptly abandoned, only a few high railroad passages like the one pictured here are now the reminders of the unfinished railroad connection.
